We went to eat lunch today with my parents at Cracker Barrel and when we walked in I wished that I could get my hair as black as my Mom's. Well she always dyes her own hair at home and she works third shift so she's normally sleep deprived. Well she bought her normal box of color (I forgot the brand), mixed it up like she normally does and started with her roots. She thought it was strange that she didn't have enough goop left to do all of her hair and then it dawned on her. They didn't have enough creme in the bottle. Evidentally she had purple/black roots for a few days. Ooopsie! I think she emailed the company and is waiting to hear back from them. :frown:

???? thats so weird! i dye my hair alot and ive never had a problem like that! sorry to hear that.

I've never had it happen to me either. She said her hands turned purple and so did her feet from standing in the shower. :add_wegbrech: She has a friend that has her beauty license and is going to pick up the good stuff at the beauty supply store for her now. Which is a plus since I can tack things like HSH onto her list. :rockwoot:

I'm sorry....What funny is that I was reading your original post and was like....awwwww:(. Then i read the above post and you were cracking up and it made me start to crack up. Sorry:( :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

No need to apologize. My Mom was laughing when she told me about it. She said I couldn't figure out why my hands were purple. She said she washed her hair 10 times that day trying to de-purple herself. :add_wegbrech: The really funny part...... my mom was a licensed beautician for years so she definitely should have known something was up, but she was too tired to even notice.

argh. thats strange, for some reason i keep picturing really brittle hair after that.

Her hair actually looks really healthy. She has a tough head of hair though.

Haha, bless her heart! I would be so aggravated though!

On a side note: I love me some Cracker Barrel! lol...

No she works retail now, but was a licensed beautician for years. She wanted to be an RN, but her Mother told her she wasn't smart enough. :scared: Well that and she volunteered as a candy striper and tried to feed a dead woman jello.

On the bright side, the company might feel so bad about that that they send her a bunch of boxes of color for free.
