Ok Im concerned my hairdresser isnt doing my hair right, but do any of you know

I'll try and explain how she dyes it, first off Im blonde so my roots show quickly as Im a natural darkest blonde but to me its brown.

When shes sectioned it all, she uses a tail comb and gets a slice of my hair, halfs that with the comb drops the underneath bit and then weaves thru the peice shes kept in her hand, drops the bits down and then dyes/bleaches those bits left in her hand thats been weaved, and does this all over my head.

Im my opinion this isnt doing all my roots as shes leaving most of it undone which is more like streaks to me, plus the underneath of my hair is darker, which is probably common but in some of my underneath has really dark brown streaks in where she hasnt touched pretty much at all! as its grown out and shes not coloring,

I tell her everytime I want to be blonde all over!

Is she doing it right or what?

If you're paying her, then she should be listening to you and your concerns. It doesn't matter if she went to school for her job or not, the customer is always right! The next time you go in, tell her your concerns and explain how YOU want it done. If she's not willing to do it as you want, then it's time to move on to a new hairdresser.

I think the way she does it is supposed to make the hair colour look more natural.

But anyhoo, if you don't like the way she colours your hair, I think perhaps you should find a new hair stylist... That's what I would do if my hair stylist was always ignoring my requests, always doing things his way and I wasn't happy with the result. (And it sounds like you've gotten your hair done many times only to get it done HER way always...)

sounds like you're just getting woven highlights. i'm sure they look nice, but if you wanted blonde all over, she probably should have dyed your hair first, and then went back for some natural highlights.

I've been dying my hair for close to 30 years. This is how I have had stylists do my hair:

Start with a middle part, dye goes right down the part, then rub/comb the dye into the roots.

Then move to the right side of scalp and do another part about an inch over.

And apply the dye into the roots.

Contine until the whole right side is done - then do the entire left side.

Finally, apply dye behind ears and onto the hairs at the base of neck.

20 minutes after the dye has been applied to roots, the remainder of the dye is applied on the rest of the hair.

She's just doing a touchup for a natural look it sounds like. If you've constantly told her you want it done another way, and she doesn't listen, you need to go somewhere else.

Last time I was there one of the other hairdressers said she liked it how its done it looks more natural to leave some un-done, but to be fair I dont! Im looking streaky on top then bright blonde futher down, It looks silly plus the bits around my ears she leaves some they dont get dyed.

Im thinking of going next week to get my roots done maybe I should try telling her again!

The way you described is a very common way many stylist practice today. Now, you obviously are having trouble with your roots and you are not liking the way she is doing your hair. I normally do a similar technique when I am working with blonde hair. However, I have done it your hairdressers way and I have also done it a different way. Now, if she takes smaller sections and just weaves that section and does not cut it in half, then that will cover the root area. It will still leave some left undone but hardly noticable. Also, if you do just decide to get the roots done, it will be very obvious when your hair starts to grow out that you highlight your hair because you will have a dense line there. At least with the foil technique, it doesn't give you that harsh line straight down the part.
