My hair is dark

so my hair is really light naturally, and for years i have been coloring it almost black and a while ago someone put chunk slice hlights in it back to back and underneath all bleached out, saying it would be platinum, like gaga. wrong. so i have had these hilights in my hair for months now since around feb that won't cover, and everytime i try it just fades out cause my hair wont hold it. so i created a random color, hoping it wont give me hot roots, and i hope it will finally cover the grown out sliced hlights.
