Day Eleven is over and done! (I did use some ECBs because I needed a non-AHA moisturizer; now that I'm trying to USE UP my stuff, I found a wrinkle serum that I remember loving, but I can't use an AHA moisturizer with it, darned retinols).

It's weird, but today, I was seriously considering unsubbing from MyGlam and Sample Society, too. I just keep staring at all these products that I haven't used, you know?

I'm not really counting this against my no buy since I have been playing around with the mini for awhile now but I finally purchased a full size chi flatiron.

After my stylist straightened my hair on Saturday, I wanted to give myself a full 24 hours of living with it to see if it was really something I wanted to do. I still liked it very much the next day so I made the plunge. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I keep contemplating canceling sample society and beauty army, leaving myself with only birchbox because its annual. I can't bring myself to click cancel quite yet. but those are the only 3 subs I have left.

I've been able to trim down to Sample Society, Beauty Army and Birchbox. I think that is as far as I am willing to go at this point.

I just looked at my credit card statement and omg D:. I don't want to cancel beauty army and sample society but man that stuff adds up fast. I will definitely keep them through April since SS charges on the 1st and my BA doesn't come around until the 16th, but boy I feel guilty looking at my cards.

Don't you love it? I only straighten my hair once in a blue moon since I've got a lot of it, but the chi makes it so easy. Plus, I've had mine for years and years now, so it's definitely a worthwhile investment!

Also...I bought some stuff yesterday from Beauty Bar and Dermstore. I don't feel too bad since I saved $55 with all of the discount codes, and spent $50ish total. No tax and free shipping on both orders. Here's what I got:

Beauty Bar:

-Travel size Fekkai Shea Mask

-Stila Convertible color in Gladiola

-Stila E! Live from the Red Carpet Palette in Glamour Goddess

-3 random samples

Dermstore:

-Stila Convertible Color Fuchsia

-Essie Polish in Smooth Sailing

-Philosophy Harvest Spice 3-in-1

-Philosophy Harvest Spice Body Lotion

-2 Year Subscription to Better Homes & Gardens

The guilt actually hasn't set in yet, probably because I didn't buy anything with wild, crazy colors that will get very little use (Hello, Book(s) of Shadows!!). The Palette is all neutrals, cream blush is my go-to for the summer, and I'm a ho for pumpkin scented stuff, so I'm going to resist and save that until the fall. Plus, two years to Better Homes and Gardens? Yes, please!

I remember stopping to take a sniff when I was in Sephora ages ago (this was whenever they had it), and I LOVED it. For some reason, I didn't buy it then. When I saw that Dermstore had the scent and it was on sale, I just couldn't help myself! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Welp philosophy is on hautelook today. Bad news for me.

I WAS TEMPTED. But I got out with nothing. I just bought a new hope in a jar and purity made simple so I'm good.

I thought about ordering some more harvest spice, but I resisted. I didn't see anything that was a definite must have.

I agree! I was all excited when I saw the advertisment for it, but the actual pickings are not that spectacular.

Isn't that how it always goes? For once, though, I am thankful for that!

Me too! Hautelook's sales haven't been super tempting lately. Good news for us!

I've decided to skip the Sephora 15% off and an umbrella, unless they release the sun safety kit that week.

I've had 31 days of not buying, and set my limit to my birthday (in May) and impulse buying isn't worth ruining that. Besides, there will be other sales and it hardly rains in AZ (and when it does, it pours and I stay inside).

The wind out here is always SO much worse than the rain, isn't it?

I've done good for myself recently. Paid off all my bills *phew* and have a goal of ONLY buying things that I run out of. I also got rid of my foundation, one of my vichy samples, a bottle of conditioner, a Olay razor, the tea from Stash, my beauty blender (well my dog ate it), Stila eyeshadow sample,  and am so close to getting rid of grey eye shadow, my face wash, a lip treatment, my hair oil treatment and another vichy sample. Yay for actually using my samples!

But I also realized how many samples I have. There's no need for me to run out and buy anything, because I have enough samples/product I bought on sale to sustain me... My new goal is to deplete at least 5 more containers or packets by the end of April. Who's with me!?

I've been bad

Since I cheated, I haven't been able to get back on track. On day 3 & not sure I can make it through the day.

I've also been really bad lately and was afraid to confess lol. I got aquolina body shimmer from beauty army because they had a gwp, ordered a nail polish from julep (susie, because I really wanted it and skipped my box this month but it was only 7.99), eyeliner from birchbox, and I can't remember what else but its been bad.

I didn't buy anything this weekend, haven't made a purchase since Thursday. So I'm on day 4, and I'm going to put a bunch of things up on here or ebay to get rid of.

I felt bad that I was posting my daily countdown since I went to the "30 days" rather than a month thing, because I felt like I was way behind everyone, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has struggled with this. That said, WE CAN DO THIS!

Isn't it funny how going on the no buy made us aware of how FREQUENTLY we are buying stuff?

Yes, and it's a very good thing it has! I would say what I've been doing this month would be considered a low buy, but I'm still buying more than I can handle. Definitely going to start selling stuff because I have enough make up to last me 35 years.
