Mane and tail

Is there a difference in the mane and tail from the horse/animal shop and the ones you get at walmart or Sallys??? Which one is the best? I have decided to try it again, and when I used it along time ago, my husband got it at the horse shop.

if the brand is the same it should be fine. the Mane and Tail I have has instructions for both humans and animal use
