Hi!

I have brown, slightly-wavy hair down to my shoulders. It is basically all one length & I wear it tied back almost all the time.

I want a style that is relatively easy to take care of, but would like to keep some length.

I have posted on other boards, with varying degrees of success

, and would like to get some input from you all as well.

Any & all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Allen

Hmm...Okay well heres my take:

This style will be easily achieved based on what you said the length and texture of the hair is. Obviously, you would need some layers added into the hair; that alone will create a wash and go effect as the wave will be more prominent and all you would need to do is add a bit of gel or wax and go.

Ps...I always have to ask - whats the point in having long hair if you're going to pull it back everyday?

Thanks for the reply!

I had a job in sales and needed to keep my hair as presentable as possible, hence the ponytail. I have since moved into a position of inventory control, and have little to no contact with the public at large.

I have been seriously considering a bob after a conversation with a female friend of mine. I had no idea that there were so many variations!

Bobs are pretty feminine looking? You don't dabble in crossdressing? I love them personally and inverted bobs are sweet!!

if your hair is wavy and you want something wash and go i would skip the bob, and go with something like what hair ego suggested.

i third gina's suggestions!

but also you might want to consider something like this?

My friend Cindy suggested this haircut:

Go to imdb.com & type in "Hollow Man", click on the 4th picture. To see how the back's cut, click on "Linda Mckay"
