Okay, I've search for tuts or tips or anything on this but to no avail. I have medium-thick curly hair. I really would like to "stretch" my curls out into soft waves, but I don't know how. I would love to have loose waves, so I was hoping that I could find some help here. Thanks! =)

Brading at night works for me and i saw it on E! this hairstylst said the easiest way is to braid it over night.

I would like to know too but I have straight hair. Whenever I braid my hair, it just looks ugly.

you could blow dry your hair straight to create a smooth surface then use a large barrel curling iron to create waves and use hairspray or pomade to set.

I thought of that, but that's what I wanted to avoid. I wish there was just some product you could apply to hair while wet and let airy dry for soft, loose, sexy curls! But I guess that would be too easy. =(

it would be too easy its not going to magically become wavy. Try to get some extensions, thats what most celebs have anyway. lol

I know it wont magically become wavy. I was just hoping there was an easier way than blow drying it straight and then using a curling iron to add waves back in. That seems like an oxymoron to me.

get some large rollers and gel, roll your hair when its wet that should reshape your curls.

That's something I always try to do! I somtimes braid it but it doesn't turn out nice at all. Everyone gave really good tips, I'm going to try these out!
