I have my hair highlighted at a salon, but from time to time like to do a strand test on the back of my hair - just for fun!
The new Preference Dream Blonde looks enticing, but the fact the extremely crucial detail of tone is omitted from a whopping 5 colors out of the 11 of this line - Dark Blonde 7, Medium Blonde 8, Light Blonde 9, Lightest Blonde 10, and Extra Light Blonde 11, to be exact - keeps me from buying it. (I've contacted L'Oréal and am looking forward to their response.) Knowing the tone of the shade you're using is critical, as any blonde knows who has inadvertently mixed Warm/Gold tones with Cool/Ash because this information was not cited on the box!
Is anyone familiar with this new line - and have you used it? Provided below is one of the color boxes to provide a visual. As you can see, this tone of this particular shade is marked, which is nice. I just wish all of them were!
