Lightening Base Colour + Adding Highlights

Hiiiii.. I need help! I have very dark brown (dyed) hair & I'd like to lighten the base up to a medium-brown, and then add honey/golden highlights. How can I achieve this & combat the copper/red tones that occur via bleaching? Will a toner work at all? If I use a low developer for the base (20%?) with bleach, will this lighten it a few shades or just not work at all due to my dark hair? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanku! :}

I wouldnt rec doing any of that on your own. Thats receipe for disaster. If you must, colour erase your entire base then highlight.

i think you should talk to your local barber, and he shoud recomend sth to you or even do it to you
