Less expensive flat irons?

ive always used a more expensive flat iron, like chi.

but im curious if these from ULTA work just as well...

they seem to have similar max. temps.

and i do believe that most of the time a brand name makes it more costly.

has anyone tried one of these irons? or any of the $29 dollar ones from ulta, that are usually in the ad?

My friend bought a pink and white one. Value was suppose to be $130. Lena I think it was called, cost her $30. It broke after one use. But then again, sometimes they just come out defective.

check out Folica: Hair Care Skin Care & Beauty Product Reviews, they have a ton of reviews on flat irons. I'm not sure about the ones you're talking about, but it's worth a look
