If you can’t get an appointment with your hairdresser and want that glossy look you only seem to get when he blow dries it, panic over.

John Frieda is well aware that women love the way their hair shines and feels after a trip to his salon and now he and his professionals have given us the chance to get that fresh out of the salon look from home.

John Frieda Luminous Colour Glaze is their newest product that works to optimise shine, colour and the texture of your hair in just three minutes. There is no ammonia, no peroxide, and no need for gloves. The glaze simply boosts and optimises colour so hair appears rich and vibrant and creates a smooth texture so it is more manageable.

No matter if your hair is regularly tinted, highlighted, or has no colour at all Luminous Colour Glaze is fantastic for all hair types.

So how does it work? Hair has a negative charge, especially if it’s damaged. Traditional colorants have a positive charge and have a tendency to attach to more damaged hair, potentially resulting in uneven colouring.

The unique thing about this glaze is that it utilizes negatively charged colourants and a penetration enhancer to ensure even colouration. Mild dyes penetrate evenly into the hair and gradually increase in colour with use, allowing you more control. Within the first use, lightweight silicones and conditioning agents smooth the cuticles and hair begins to shine. Within three to five uses mild dyes penetrate each hair strand for a gentle cumulative colour result.

Hollywood hairstylist, Kerry Warn, used the glaze on Nicole Kidman and she was thrilled. Warn raved, “The one thing that makes my job easier is hair that is already vibrant and shiny. It shouts health, condition and manageability, and the camera absolutely loves it.†This product makes my hair look so vibrant and healthy everyone keeps asking me where I get my hair done!

I used this, and didn't really like it... I don't know, I kind of felt as if it didn't do anything for or against my hair lol. *shrugs*

i tried it, but it was too much of a hassle because when i tried it i had red and blonde hair, so i'd have to section off the blonde parts so they wouldn't turn orange and yaddah yaddah yaddah. too much work for multi colored hair.

I almost bought it but I read too many bad reviews on this product and I already got highlights, lol

I really like it. It helps my color a lot. When used by itself, it is pretty drying, but if you do a moisturzing treatment before or after, that really helps.

i used this...

idk i felt it changed my color to much to a gross orangy mess.

not to mention the smell was horrid.

and i dont think it shined any more then usual.

I didn't like it either. I gave it to my best friend. I haven't tried the clairol color glaze.
