Japenese straightening

i recently got my hair japenese straightened. about 2 weeks ago. i was wondering if you could still scrunch your hair (putting gel in your hair when its wet and making it curly) or will it ruin it?

It all depends on your hair. Since your hair has been chemically altered, putting curls back in it won't cause it to revert back to it's old texture. But perhaps you should find a new way to put waves/curls in your hair as it has been zapped of moisture from the Japanese hair straightening. The alcohol from the gel will certainly do it no good.

I think it would be okay to put gel in it but it probably wouldn't curl very well anyway.
