I have had Japanese Hair Straightening done in a Salon in NYC 2 times already, and I really want to find an at-home product that I can use to touch up the hair when it grows in curly again. My hair used to be extremely puffy, curly and thick. Does anyone know of a product I can purchase at a drug-store or somewhere that I can use that wont damage my hair since I have had this process done already? I absolutely love my hair the way it is now straight, soft and shiny and the salon is like a 2 hour drive and I dont have many chances to get down there. Thank you, any help or suggestions would be great. :)

Hello! I don't have curly hair, so I don't know from first hand experience, but my sister does get her hair straightened with the Japanese Hair Straightening system. I think the Japanese method is the best at making your hair shiny and silky, I'm not sure you can find something that will give you similarly beautiful results.

But, if you are trying to find some product you can buy in stores, you might want to read the warnings in this thread first, about EasyStraight. It seems to have ruined a lot of people's hair:
