Has anyone used these? I'm really excited about trying them out, especially with my kinky coily hair:). Wondering if anyone has any experience with them with any type of hair, lol? Thanks!

I love Jane Carter! It is perfect for natural and relaxed hair! Her products have a very nice scent to them. You can even use it as a moisturizer for your skin...just don't use a lot!

I was natural for ten years and would go back and forth between wearing it straight (old fashion press and curl) to wearing it curly. My stylist would use a little to blow dry my hair. I now have my hair cut very short (think Nia Long's cuurent style-was featured in Essence June 2006 issue). I use her products as a pomade to smooth down edges and spike my hair.

It is designed for people with dry hair, including curly, wavy, relaxed, natural hair, color treated and locked hair. depending on what product you use, it could be too heavy if your hair doesn't fall into one of the previously listed categories. hope that helps!

thanks ladies for the info! I've been really happy with them so far - Chocolate Star which product did she use for blow drying? Do you use any of them everyday? thanks a bunch!!!

Hi Solrevival!

She would use a very small amount of the Hair Nourishing Cream or the Nourish & Shine, all over. When I wore my hair pressed I didn't put anything else on my hair so it wouldn't be weighed down; at the most a little oil sheen and a little Nourish & Shine on the edges to smooth them. My hair was very light (airy with a lot of movement, not plastered and oily) and I have very thick, multi textured hair (wavy, curly, straight, etc.) and at the time it was below the shoulders. My stylist would would blow my hair straight and then use a bevel iron to smooth it out and use a straightening comb to get close to the edges. But don't use to much! Overall the products are good and not heavy, I just liked movement in my hair.
