i think i've finally mastered "the scrunchy look", as you can tell from my past threads about craving curls & body & all that, my hair has always been stubbornly straight, thin, & flat looking. i really love that scrunchy/wavy kinda wet look that some girls sport & i've been expiermenting ways to get that style. ive tried everything, from sleeping in wet braids, to hot rollers, just scrunching with gel, hairspray, puttin it in tiny lil buns overnight, etc. & finally, i discovered that if i put gel in my damp hair & scrunch it for a bit, then twist it up into one of those big claw clips & sleep in it overnight, (or sometimes if im in a hurry i'll just put it up while im doing my makeup), then take it out & scrunch some more using aussie sprunch spray...it leaves me with lots of lil pretty scrunchy-like curls...& i looove it! it lasts all day too, i just touch up with some spray throughout the day.

i've been using tresemme strong hold gel & aussie sprunch spray to create this look. i dont know if its the products or the claw clip, id say a combo of both. but i just thought i'd share cause im sure some other straight haired gals might like to try it. (i would post pics but my digicams broke i'll try to get some off of google later for those of you who dont know what im talkin bout.)

i've been searching for something as well.

After i wash my hair i put on tresemme leave-in conditioner. then some curling cream and fructis styling paste, i either leave it or braid parts of ma hair. depends if its in a ponytail or not.

this works for me, it does stay all day. but sometimes i feel i lose the curls too early.

so am still searching.

i dont think we have the aussie cream here.
