I'm getting my hair highlighted

Is there a shampoo & conditioner that would be good to use to make the them last longer? Also has anyone used the Vo5 Split ends shampoo? I need to find a S&C that will help my color to not fade so quick because it will be a while before I can get it done again. TIA!

Pureology .... the color care one is in the purple bottle a little pricey but worth it

What color are the highlights? At Sally Beauty they have Shimmer Lights for Blonde and they also have a line for Redheads.
