hi i have always been afraid to chop off my hair but when i get to a hairstylist it's coming OFF.

I *love* the inverted bob haircut but my hair, I think it is thinning! I belive I was told that layering would NOT look great with my hair as it is so "thin."

any suggestions? I have quit wearing ponytails because I feel like my hair is coming out in clumps (OMG!). I still wash it every day but I try to brush it less, and I almost never do use heat on it...no dryers and seldom use a curling iron. I would love to get add-in/extensions but I think it woulfd be too expensive at this time.

please give me some suggestions? I'd rather not have it boy-short but I am sick of taking care of it and watching more of my hair come out every time I brush it. ack!

I do have a little pic of myself in my profile so if one of you knows how to cut hair, I am all "ears."

Thank you in advance!

warmly,

Mel

I think that an inverted bob would still look nice, how about some clip on extensions in the back if it is not full enough?

i would go for the inverted bob.. maybe a few less layers though..

i would skip extensions cause they can add weight to your hair which can make it break...

i would just focus on keeping your hair healthy so it does not fall out

Ditto. Inverted bobs are so easy to maintain

I had one for 2 years straight! hehe.

thx! i'll keep it in mind that i need to ask for less layers if i get this hairdo.

do you all think if i got a 'starburst" dye job that it would show up well or would it not come out right with that haircut? I already like *seldom* curl or use heat products on my eay to break hair and i use almost all paul mitchell and nexxus shampoo and conditoner. my ahir is pretty healthy, it just seems to tear easy and fall out easy. *pout*
