I really need a stylist!!

My hair doesn't grow fast at all! This is the longest my hair has EVER been in my life. I have no bangs and its all straight and one length. I'm really getting sick of it because its just so flat and thin. I've had some stylist tell me that it can't be layered because of how fine it is. So I'm going to post a picture of my flat hair and hopefully some of you can give me some ideas for a new cut or some pointers to give it a little something.

The other two are just styles I thought about getting. Not sure if I can pull either of them off though.

you can def have layers i have hair just like yours and i get layers cuase they make it look thicker than it really is

Is your hair fine or thin? There is a difference. Not sure why that stylist would tell you that you can't get layers, maybe she just didn't want to do them? I like the 3rd picture the best.

I've been told tons of times that my hair is really thin. It doesn't hold curl at all. Since I've gotten older, it has gotten alittle thicker, but not much.

Totally off topic but you have amazing eyes.

I like your color alot too, you could make it a little more dimensional maybe with some highlights/lowlights? Bangs like in picture #2 you posted I think would look sweet on you, I think those girls have extensions though, which may be why its so choppy. Get some face framing layers and experiment with teasing you hair and using volumizing mousse if its thin.

Yes, you can have layers. And you should. For thin hair this is what I would give you for a cut.....

For the length, I would cut your ends blunt, straight across in the back. This will thicken the bottom.

For the front, around the face, I would angle to give some style and so the hair doesn't just hang around your face.

For layers, I would keep them a bit longer than normal, maybe about 2-3 inchs off the bottom only. This will give you plenty of bounce without taking away from the bulk of your hair. Then maybe add a few shorter, hidden layers for even more movement.

For color.... I wouild absolutley add 2 or 3 colors into your hair. No flat, one color. Highlights and lowlights will add demesion to your hair, making it look thicker. For maximum thick illusion you can try this.....

The ottom 3 inchs, do a darker color. 2 shades darker then rest. Top and sides do the darker color for lowlights then add lighter tones 2 shades lighter for highlights. This method really does make the hair look thicker.
