I HATE the in-between stage!

I'm getting my hair done next weekend, but I just cannot stand the way it looks right now. My roots have grown out some, my hair has lost shape and it's driving me crazy. I can't wait until I get paid so I can go get it done again. I also don't know what I want to do this time. I'm kinda getting tired of the blonde highlights, plus darker hair is more "in" during the wintertime so I'm thinking about going brunette again. What do ya'll think I should do?

I'm going through the same thing, atm. I LOVE dark hair especially for fall and winter, like you said. So I say, "Go for it!"

I have a hair appointment here in a few and i'm getting a trim since i'm still growing my hair out but I dunno what to do about the color. She is sooo expensive but very good but all i'm wanting is to darken it all over so i'm thinking that's something I could do myself but i'm kinda sceered.

Do you color yourself or get it done in a salon?

i'm in the in between stage myself and it's sooooo tempting to go and lop it all off again. i just got a trim and it's laying better. the color isn't my issue, it's the growing out phase that's killing me

I went ahead and let her color it. It's a chocolate brown and really shiny. I like it! I was afraid it would turn out too dark or the color would be flat if I did it myself. I'm a chicken.

Thanks! I'll try to take some later. My hair is thrown up right now because i'm in a hurry. I need to run into town for a few things and then I have a doctor's appointment.

LOL Lisa, that's exactly what I was thinking about doing with mine, shiny chocolate brown. I will def. post a pic when I get it done. I always get mine done in the salon cause doing it myself would just be disastrous. LOL
