I don't know about your area, but the humidity has set into South Western Ontario.

I am using coconut oil on my hair, prior to shampooing.

And I am using a serum after conditioning.

Any other suggestions to fighting the frizz and poufiness?

ponytail!

I'm kidding but that's what I've been rocking since the end of last week. I need help too

Same here .We just had a storm and a power outage!! Less humidity by tomorrrow so less frizzy hair

I've been wearing a pony tail all week! I tried putting my hair in a braid but it got brizzily and frizzy - kind of like a hedgehog!

i don't know if this will work for you, carolyn, but i love john frieda silicone gel. i apply it to my hair while it's wet and don't touch my hair again until it dries. frizz free hair all day. i use it to control my hair when it's in a ponytail also. i doesn't dry hard unless you use too much. i love this stuff. no more puffy hair on humid days.

I'm not sure what else to suggest apart from a serum. We're in the 98 to 104 over here and the humidity is horrible. Even bikers are riding because the air is so damn hot.

I was gonna say John Frieda too. I don't use it personally but I know several ppl that use it at home, and it's pretty humid there....

I have frizzy hair to begin with, and living in Florida...it's always super humid! lol!

I love using BioSilk Shine On Finishing Spray:

  • unique weightless finishing spray
  • controls frizz
  • provides hair with instant shine
  • offers UV protection
It works well for me.

I just ran out, though! Eek! lol!

Is the john frieda gel just called silicone gel? I'm going to look for this...Thanks!!
