i recently chopped my waist length hair off to right below my chin, i needed a change...my long ass ponytail was donated to locks of love so it didnt go to waste. anyway i used to wash my hair abot 2 or 3 times a week, should i wash it more now that i have short hair? it seems to get greasy now and i really never had that problem before, any input would be great !

thanks~deb

Well it's not that short...it's not an urchin cut!

Don't see why more washing would be required???

i cut mine from waist to chin 2 years ago and i too had to wash it more because it needed styling every morning, id never personally cut again but maybe you are running your fingers through it more now and this is causing it to go greasy?

If it's getting greasy, then you'll probably need to wash it. I'd just wash it whenever it feels dirty.

when my hair feels kind of greasy but not really, i just wash bangs area... to freshen it up. I really want to avoid washing my hull head every day - i believe it is better for the hair not to wash it that often, and also it makes my carbon footprint tiny bit smaller

I would just go buy how long it takes to get greasy. Maybe since it's shorter the natural greases dont have as much hair to coat? If you dont want to wash it too much more, maybe try a dry shampoo.
