My hair used to be thin and healthy looking. but I've been dyeing my hair quite often (about once in two months) along with the frequent use of flat iron and now they're becoming quite thick and brittle. :scared: Is any any hair products that help to deeply condition and add shine to my poor hair? :g:

i use nexxus hydrating shampoo and cond. with pantenes frizz serum (be sure not to add to much ) it adds alot of shine to my hair i have the same problem except i have natually thick hair the nexxus really helps with the damage

I have been using Pantene time renewal and suave Extreme Strength. I use Pantene Ice Shine on my daughters and their hairy is full of shine.

i liek panteen time renewal i use that a nexxus refill I bought forgot what one and aussie. I let it sit on my head all day if im not going anywhere I also let it sit atleast 6 min in the shower (put a cap on it) and then i put a panteen time renewal detangler leave in thing ill get the name later and then spray in a ton of aussie hair insurance leave in. I took my hair from black to platinum and then back to brown so i feel your pain with brittleness....

I use a drop of Got2b Glossy hair serum after I have finished blow drying and flat ironing. It makes a huge difference.

My hair looks shiny and definately feels softer.

When using a serum, I only use a drop - dime size - and warm it in my hands.

Then I apply from the bottom of hair up to the top. Don't rub into scalp.

Well Biosilk helps my hair a lot! I apply it as soon as I get out of the shower and then I let it air dry.

A protein treatment will do wonders if you're looking to repair damage as opposed to just camoflauge itwith styling products. I really like the Generic Value Products version of Joico K-Pak conditioner. You can get it at Sally's. Or, if your hair is really damaged, Aphogee makes an amazing protein system which is only for severely damaged hair.

I love the So Sexy shine serum from Victoria's Secret. Not sure what shampoos could help you. I tried the moisture shampoo from Bed Head, and it didn't do much for me.

For a quick fix put some oil (olive oil, etc.) on your ends, it moisturizes and gives it a nice shine... just dont use too much

I use All Soft shampoo & condtioner...Redken makes it. To help with the shine i rinse the conditioner out of my hair with cold water. When i'm done blow drying I use Paul Mitchell Supper Skinny Serum. HTH:)

if you have light hair, rinse your hair with lemon juice. if you have dark hair, rinse with vinegar. natural hair care is the best!

Helen Claire, I must admit, you took the words right out of my mouth!

Fermodyl is also good for your damaged hair.
