Hi, girls
smile.gif
I was just wondering how you all style your hair every day/every night/every time you wash your hair.

This is how I style mine (I style every time I wash my hair which is every night) :

I shampoo and condition my hair, combing it when it's slathered in conditioner and rinse. I then take my hair, braid it without tying it, slap it on top of my head and wrap a towel around it. I then relax while leaving my hair in the towel for about an hour. After an hour or so, I remove my hair from the towel and undo the braid. Then I scrunch in a nickel-sized amount of Sunsilk Captivating Curls Gel & Cream Twist on one half of my hair, then scrunch in another nickel-sized amount on the other half of my hair. (I rub the nickel-sized amount in my hands first to mix it evenly and then scrunch) I then take a small dollop of Pantene Curling Mousse, rub it between my hands till there's only a small bit of white left, and scrunch it into one side of my hair and do the same thing with another dollop on the other side. Then I take a very tiny amount of the gel & cream twist and run it gently over the top part of my hair to control frizz. I them let my hair air dry and voila! I now have shiny, bouncy, and frizz-free curls and waves :)

PS; My hair is fine, frizzy, and oily and it is naturally wavy when I don't comb it after showering, so I don't know if this will work for all of you.

PPS; I also forgot to mention that I have really wavy bangs that irritate the heck out of me, so I either pin them back or straighten them in the morning after I wake up.

I just let it dry, lol.

The most I'll do is blow-dry the fringe (blunt bangs, or sometimes side swept) but that's about it.

I leave hair styling to the professionals, since I'm not very good at it

I wouldn't say I style it, but I do have a procedure that I do every time I wash it. I wash mine every 2-3 days, mostly at night. I shampoo & condition - combing the conditioner through. Then leave it in a towel for half an hour or so. I mix argan oil with chi silk infusion (my fav combo at the mo) and rub it through my hair concentrating more on the ends. Then I comb & plait it so it can dry with less frizz. My hair looks thick but is quite fine & curly. I like to straighten it about once every 2 weeks if I'm going out somewhere nice.

I have really oily hair around the top and then dry ends, so I always wash my hair every night or else the next day, I have oily dandruff. I shampoo the top part of my head and not the bottom because when you rinse that out, it gets the bottom anyway, then I condition the end of my hair, combing it through with my fingers. I shower at night. I don't really have an everyday style because if I have a good hair day then I don't do anything. My hair is naturally very wavy, so I tend to leave it, but my fringe is always curly so I might straighten it or pin it up with a bobbypin.

I mostly leave it be the way it is, and blowdry it when it's almost dry.

At work, i either braid it (dutch braid or french braid), or i do a ponytail, or i just twist it and secure with a basic claw clip.

My hair is naturally curly...really curly!

So after I shampoo and condition, I comb through it...put some mousse in it and blow dry it until it's just a little damp. Then I let the rest air dry because I'm too lazy to blow dry it thoroughly lol

annnnd then I straighten it.

Oh god...this could be a long post! Since I am in the Hair Industry, theres never a day that I can just NOT style my hair...I'm judged on it everyday and its the perfect platform to promote products and services.

If I'm doin a curly day:

-Wash/condition with Joico K-Pak Color Therapy

-Run some Argan and Morrocan oil through the length of my hair; Next add some AG Fast food leave in conditioner. I need my hair to be soaking wet inorder to get my curls how I like, so I drench my hair in Matrix Essentials Instacure spray in conditioner.

-Spray a little root pump, either Matrix Amplify or Kenra Root Lifting Spray

- Rub a small amount of AG Recoil curl activator in my hands to warm up, then apply to the entire length of my hair. Then comb it through to ensure even distribution.

-Now its time for mousse....I scrunch a bit of Tigi Bedhead Foxy Curls Mousse through the hair

-Scrunch two or three pumps of Sebastian Texturizer and proceed to diffuce.

-After the hair is dry, I add some GHD Sea Salt Spray and Rusk Being Sexy Hairspray!

If i'm goin straight...

-Wash and Condition with AG Color Savour

-Add some Morrocan oil to the length of the hair

-On the ends of the hair put some AG split end spa serum

-Put some Goldwell Brilliance Luxury Affair through my hair with a bit of Matrix root lifter and blow dry

-Before flat ironing I add some It's a 10 Miracle Shine Spray to the hair

-Spray a little Kenra #9 hair spray and doneeeeeee!

I have to blow dry mine or it looks funky. I wash every other day and in between just get it wet and then blow dry. I put Chemical (?) root lifting spray on the crown of my head and then Garnier root lifting gel spray on the back top. Do my makeup, and get dressed and then spray Tresseme Heat Protectant on and dry. Then use the flatiron on the ends. On specail occasions I will curl it. I wish I didn't feel self conscious about having my hair air dry. It get kind of wavy, but never looks right to me.

My hair is shortish.. I'm in the middle of growing it out and it's just bad.. my boyfriend likes it when it's messy but I usually just put it up in a pony tail and put my bangs back with a headband..

I tend to always shower right before i leave (haha no time management what so ever, story of my life) so i only ever have time to blow dry it for a minute or 2 so that it is not drenched looking and let my waves/curls air dry. But my sister bought my a diffuser for Christmas so they has definitely made it easier.

I have dry, colored hair and I live in a pretty cold place, so I only wash my hair every couple days. I generally try to stretch my styling out for this period so I can do it once and not worry about it (keeping my hair in a shower cap on the days I don't wash it).

I have naturally pretty straight hair and a lot of times I just tease it , and maybe run the flat iron through a couple kinky parts.

If I'm going for curly there can be tons of different ways I style it. I usually like my hair better on the second day when it's curly though XD. Once I get out of the shower the humidity usually makes my hair somewhat frizzy, so sometimes I run a sleeking product over it......but more often then not I just rock the messy bedhead look :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

here's an update on how i style my hair.

nowadays, i just shampoo and condition it with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, leaving the conditioner in for five minutes. i comb the conditioner through, rinse it with freezing cold water, and let it air dry. when it's about 90% dry, i comb it. that's it. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
