Ok...my hair isn't quite long enough for this cut yet, and it's not exactly my goal style, but it is close. I'm growing it out from a pixie, so it's a long process.

What products could I try to give me this texture?

My hair's currently reddish brown and almost shoulder length now. I would probably make any major change in stages. I never considered blonde before, but I was playing around with some blondes and coppers and thought these might be possibilities....what do you think? Sorry the pic quality is a little grainy...

TIA!

Thanks in advance!

I use sebastian molding mud...just put a SMALL amout (otherwise itll be greasy) into hands and warm it up...then run ur fingers through the ends of your hair...flip your head over and start rubbing the ends of your hair between the palms of your hand...flip your hair back again and you should have defined texture :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

and btw i like the 2nd color choice !

whenever ive tried to do the piecey look with wax, my hair looks like i havent washed it days.

i have yet to figure out how to do it.

if anyone here knows how, please please please tell us!

I like the third color choice, the style looks weird because of the makeover tool but I think it could be pretty in real life. The first color is nice too (I believe that is close to the reddish-brown you said your hair already is), but the second makes you look a little washed out. I'd keep your natural shade or go with the third color if you feel like changing it up.

I agree with TheOpenRoad.

As for piecy texture, I just use a bit of Sheer Blonde pomade and rub it on the ends of my hair. Got2B makes some spray pomade that works really good as well, and it smells yummy.
