My mother was huge into makeup. It was the 80's, so I remember a lot of Estee Lauder and Clinique and Lancome. But I remember she had like this thing that looked like a medicene cabinet, but it was for lipsticks! ha. She was really into perfume too.

Ever since I was little I had a big infatuation with makeup, but I didn't start wearing any at all until high school. Back then I would just put on some coverup & lipgloss, maybe some mascara if I was wanting to look my very best. Now I'm learning how to use eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipliner, ect. It seems the older I get, the bigger my addiction gets. Before I wanted to feel confidant about my looks & have fun with MU. While MU still helps improve my self-esteem & is a lot of fun, I am getting more & more into the artistry of it. I'm constantly trying out new products, techniques, reading MU books & reviews, ect.

I started wearing eyeliner in grade 8, thats all my mom showed me because she isnt into makeup, no one in my family is... then theres me lol...

I think a year later I got some Lancome mascara for christmas and things just went crazy crazy lol. I was heavy into dark eyes, thick liner, just teaching myself everything trial and error. Then another year later I found MUT while searching for a blush online, that turned my addiction into an addiction lol, suddenly all these brands, reviews, techniques, something Im good at, my collection just exploded from there lol and still is to this day and I love it!

And of course I love how that little bit of right makeup in the right spots makes me look my age, or sexy, or classy, or whatever way I please, it gives me a ton of confidence.

I was a magazine queen as a child and teen....started with reading my Mom's Woman's Day and Family Circle, then graduated to Young Miss and Seventeen. That was all it took -- all those ads and articles about makeup just fascinated me and truly made me believe that all it took was a swipe of powder to transform me into a model-beautiful girl. I'm still susceptible to ads, especially infomercials and QVC shows -- they just suck me in, LOL! I don't wear full makeup every day, and I don't have a huge collection, but I am totally addicted to reading about MU and talking about MU and learning more about MU (and shopping for it, whether I buy any or not I'm always shopping).

I got interested in make-up at the age of approximately 14, like a lot of girls.....but the "normal" make-ups were soon not enough for me and I did always a bit more, I was experimenting with colors & techniques, had a lot ideas but could never afford to buy something from the more expensive make-up brands or at least better brushes (I spent years with that annoying eyeshadow applicators....).

When I finished school, I started with university and I'm working at the same time....so I have more money now then some years ago, which means more money to spend as well.

Since around a year, I focus especially on getting everything neater and neater done, create individual & unique styles and of course, even more diversity. I'm always looking for inspiration ... getting inspired, not copying.
