Went to the salon today and spent way too much money getting my hair colored and highlighted. At first, I thought it was ok, but now in different light, I'm not liking it at all. I hate to go back to the salon, because in my past experience, they're not going to make it better...I've always had great reasults at home, I don't know why I second guessed myself. It was a nice rich reddish brown, and now it's this.....

It just seems to orangey to me. Is there any hope?…is there something I can do at home that wouldn't totally fry it, but be liveable?

Thanks

I don't think it looks bad at all, i like the color! that's my opinion..

Mabey have a couple rich brown lowlights put in that are close to the color of your eyebrows..

You may be used to a cooler brown (just guessing by the color of your eyes, and top).. and the color they put in is a warmer shade of brown.

I might be completely wrong, but if this is the case you can go back to the hairdresser and let her know exactly what type of shade you prefer..

I hope this helps, if not ignore it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I think it looks really pretty. After a couple of washings, you will probably find that the color is less intense and it may be more of your liking.

I'm no help whatsoever, am I? Just wanted to encourage you. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I really do like it.

I think it looks great! I really wouldn't recommend you doing it yourself, my suggestion is to go back and tell them you don't like it and to fix it. I have never had problems having to go back and have it redone. They've always been super nice about it.

If you aren't happy with your colour, go back and ask for a light neutral brown colour or low lights. That should neutralize some of the orange.

In the first picture, it looked like the colour wasn't quite the same in the front.

You paid good money, don't hesitate to ask for a correction. Good luck

I think it look great as well! Remember, it takes the color some time before it's "true colors" show. It's been about 2 days, so maybe after you wash it (unless you already have), you'll like it better now. I'd say give it a full week first for the colors to tone down and whatnot, and then re-evaluate it.
