I was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation for a heat protector that is a drug store brand that I can use before using my flat iron. I forget what the name of the one I have is, but it tends to make my hair a little greasy looking. I was wanting to get one that is a little on the cheaper side, but still works. This is why I am stearing towards the drugstore brands.

No problem!!

I have the same search problem!! Lol, I look something up, trying to be all responsible and find it myself, and then something doesn't come up, so I post a whole new thread on it!! My bad...

Haha...

If you're looking specifically for a ds brand then I highly recommend V05 Miracle Mist, it's less than $3 at Walmart and it works miracles on my hair. I've used it on other people's hair with the same results. It makes my hair very silky with out feeling heavy.

I like Biosilk, although it can be over $10. But I really like the one from Got2be.

i also use the Tresemme heat tamer protective spray. But before that I use Loreal Studioline Hot Straight

I use got2b crazy sleek hot smooth iron & blow dry lotion. $5 or less.

Orange, triangular-shaped plastic bottle with a pink coloured pump.

Protects hair from heat of blow dryer and flat iron. Great smell as well.

I use the got2B crazy sleek as well... I prefer spraying it on a brush and brushing it into my hair, so I don't get high concentrations of it anywhere, because for me that's what leads to oiliness. I get oily patches.

for the cheaper brand i like the tresseme, it smells good.....i also like the inexpensive silk elements heat protectant spray from sally beauty supply
