Hallo, I'm new here. I was reading the other thread about losing hair which reminded me about the "head spa" I've heard in Japan.
I was wondering if there is a service in the US where you get a special treatment for your scalp... I'm not sure how it would be called here but it's called the head spa in Japan and apparently it's like a facial for your hair and scalp.
Even though you wash your hair everyday, hair follicles can become plugged (similar like acne) and when a hair follicle is plugged on your scalp, the hair is trapped in the follicles, thus prevented from coming to the surface. So over time, your scalp becomes smooth and soon you will be bald or lose most of your hair. (scary!!) So this treatment is to clean up those clogged hair pores in the scalp. I don't know if this actually works but it's getting extremely popular in Japan.
If there is a service like this in the US I'm interested in to try! (specially in San Francisco Bay Area)
