The other day I was dying my hair ( and for the record- just for fun- not b/c it's grey

)

anyway.......... I used the phone then tossed it on the bed only to find out the next day that I must have got some of the dye on the phone b/c it left a brown mark on my duvet cover

so I dabbed it with some hydrogen peroxide and some of it came out but not all.......so I didn't rinse it with water and to my surprise.....the next morning the spot was completely gone!!!!

only makes sense since peroxide is an ingredient in hair bleach!!!!

so it may be useful on all different sorts of fabric, bath mats, towels, t-shirts.......

obviously you can tell I'm a messy dyer!!!!

Justine likes to do her hair in crazy colours!!

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, I remember Justine dying her hair pink, and you posted on how to get it off her skin LOL! What color is she now?

Justine has light brown redish kinda streaks right now.........bad description sounds awful but it's not, it looks nice!

Nope, doesn't sound awful! I wish I could brign myself to do blonde highlights... The style I really want, I can't do LOL!

Nice tip. When I was a dialysis nurse we used H2o2 to get out blood too. It does a good job .

The bad thing about Peroxide is that one day, I was in the salon dispensary mixing color and I needed to use some peroxide, well I had on a nice long sleeved blue blouse that I just bought! I was constantly rolling my sleeves up so they wouldnt get in the way. Well, after I finished mixing, I went on my merry way and I did my clients hair. An hour later, I looked at my sleeves and there were white spots all over my sleeves. I was sooo upset because it was like I just bleached it out completely! So, be very careful with it! Its strong stuff.

i dont think the hydrogen peroxide really got rid of the bleach, i think it just diluted it.

cause hydrogen peroxide is esentialy just an enzyme that eats protiens. so i dont see how using it on itself would get rid of it, unless it just moistened the spot enoughto wipe it up.

I didn't use it to get rid of bleach spots....just coloured dye........hair color doesn't have a bleaching agent in it.......dye to lighten hair does..... and it didn't wipe it up b/c it was dried the next day.

Yeah Kelly.........I used to use it all the time in the dental office .......it's pretty hand!!
