Hey all,

I was looking for a new hairdryer and it seems like the new thing is "Tourmaline" - can someone explain what this is and if it's worth the extra cost? Thanks!

i have a Revlon Tourmaline Ionic 1875 Watt Dryer Model RV544 and I love it. I have A LOT of hair, and this dries my hair in 3 minutes!!!! PLUS, it leaves my hair shinier, with less static electricity, and much much smoother. it also seems to move better.

i decided to upgrade to the T3, and it was so much the same, that i returned it. $150 vs. $25 for the same results? hmmm.

ALSO- the Revlon was waaaay lighter and much more quiet.

Wow, 3 minutes! Right now it takes me probably 20-30 minutes of blowdrying thanks to my thick hair...something to think about. Thanks for the post!
