Hair waving iron

Hey guys! I've been looking for something to curl my hair.. but more of the crimping iron thing... instead of an actual curling iron..

I love the look of Rihanna's curls and I know she has naturally curly hair... but I absolutely love the look and looking for more of an waving iron? I guess is what you'd call it.

If anyone knows, or any hints and tips would be great

I own a 3 barrel hair waver. I cant remember what brand it is.

I prefer it to curling my hair sometimes as it gives a softer look...

I have a 3 barrel from Gold n Hot- that cheap, gold colored chrome one, lol!

I have had it for near 10 years now and it's still doing the job.

These pics were taken in December '08; the blue shirt pic before we left to Cancun, the tan shirt after getting to the hotel in Cancun, so the humidity got to it.

It works very well but there is a trick to it.you need to grab- hold for a few seconds then release and work your way down the section of hair. you cant just run the hair through it like a flat iron (what i thought at first)
