The old saying "I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today" pretty much explains what happens once you fall asleep without doing something with your hair.

So I'm asking you ladies...what techniques do you use to set your hair at night so that in the morning it looks fresh and beautiful (Hair often looks tangled and yucky once it gets slept on)

*Oh, and once you explain what you do to set your hair at night, could you please explain how you do it...I'm open to new suggestions since the pony-tail and head scarf doesn't cut it.

I thought that when someone said that they woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, meant that you are crabby or something!

I don't do anything to my hair before I go to bed, because I shower in the morning. My hair is stick straight and even if I put it in curlers or what have you, it wouldn't look curly!

It depends on your hair type, length, ect.

My hair is short, with a funky half straight half curly texture, so if it is in a hairstyle that I need to make hold, I wrap it with a silk scarf, make sure that it is on tight. They also make a silk cap that is good also.

I have been wearing my hair curly lately. It gets tedious using Hot Sticks every morning. I found these soft rollers in Eckerd called Solar Rollers by Nandi.

I wash my hair at night and roll my hair (towel dried) with these. I put a satin cap on when I go to bed. In the morning I unroll my hair, fix the curls and I'm done. It's way easier than washing, rolling and fixing in the morning.

These rollers are totally comfortable too. They are soft sponges with stiff cloth covering them. They are bendable, so no clips or anything are needed to keep them in. I love them!!

The large ones (I have these) come 14 to a pack. I bought two packs. I use 16 for my head. I can use just the 14, but I like to break up the bottom of my hair with more rollers. It gives a tighter curl at the bottom.

This may not help you at all, if you want help with a straight hair style. Sorry, if this is not what you were asking for.

i just use one of those nylon bonnets or a nylon scraf. i wash my hair pretty much everyday, so i cover it to keep down damage more than to save time styling.

i don't do much. my hair being dry lately, i put oil on it and then braid it. either that or a very simple low ponytail.

I like loose waves so I braid my hair after being towel dried, cremed (I use Garnier), and combed. In the morning I loosen it and put smoothing creme/gel.

nothing and it always looks like a total frizz disaster in the morning. i heard silk/satin pillowcases help tame the hair when you're asleep. havent tried it out yet although ive wanted to a long time.

I wrap my hair in a silk scarf to prevent breakage and ratty ends. The down side is that I don't have any curls the next day.

i comb it out and use a soft scrunchie. not a high pony tail i leave it at my nape and hang it over my pillow

I don't really do anything. Every once in a while I will leave it in a ponytail, but that is only if I am going to wash it in the morning. If I wash it at night and let it air dry most the way, it is usually all over the place by morning.

I starightn my whole head of hair at night, so that in the morning I can just redo the parts around my face that get wet when I wash my face. it saves me so much time in the morning!
