Ladies, what is a good make it yourself at home hair mask? Ive read some on the net but Im wondering what ya'll use and if you like it and if it makes a difference.

 
I've heard that mashing up avacado and putting it on your haircan add lift and volume to it!

 
Advocado would work well as the oils can penetrate the hair shaft and actually make hair stronger. Coconut oil and olive oil can as well. See the thread on "coconut and olive oil" - there is an article on this very subject.

For the past month, I have been putting 2 tblspoon coconut oil on my dry hair prior to shampooing. I think that my hair is looking healthier and not as poufy or frizzy, especially with this crazy heat and humidity setting in.

I started a thread called "pure creamed coconut" that describes what I did.

iv heard all kinds of stuff, off the top of my head id say banana, avacardo or coke!!

 
coconut oil, and on the weekends, shea butter conditioner (the brand i use is called Home Institut).

 
Thanks for tips and links ladies. Im gonna have to try some of them. Hopefully I'll find somethin to help tame my frizzy hair.
