Hair experiment

I have for a long time considered to try hair products that do not contains SLS (sodium lauryhl sulfat) because the scalp drie out and itches. I suspect my shampoos to be the main reason for my major hairloss back in 07 - 08. So when I came over Joruns sites and her shampoobar I desided to try it out.

Today my goodies arrived.

I am very excited now, and this is goind to happen: I leave my expensive high end hair products behind for 30 days and use only this natural home made soap and hair cure. I will note the hair and scalps reaction to it and after the month has ended deside if I want to go totally natural or go back to Kerastase.

This is going to be fun and interesting, I pray to God that I will not give in to and reach for my beloved volume shampoo within these days.

let me know how this works. I get scalp itchies but i dont have any scalp issues (as in no dandruf or anything its a healthy scalp that just likes to itch a lot) if you find your scalp itchiness is dramaticly reduced i would love to know because maybe than i would switch to SLS free shampoos

I get an itchy scalp from unnecessary additives like fragrance and colour. The type of cleanser has no bearing on me.
