Hair dye help.

I'm going to try and dye my hair myself. I've done one color many times. Now I want do do a full black with blue streaks. Do I foil up the blue to the roots and then put the black on the rest of my head?

Has anyone tried this on their own?

That would be a bit of a challenge to do yourself, but I would say if you are just doing the top of your head, foil the black and foil the blue, and do the black all over the rest of your head. That would be my best guess!

If it was me that was doing this color, i would section the hair off (however you like) but I would section in a 5 point star at the crown, I would do the rest black, and the sectioned off part, blue, foiling it. You can also use a highlighter cap, with the needle, to do smaller sections of blue

i would do the blue and foil it do the black rinse out all the black and than rinse the blue with out letting it touch the black that is what i did when i wanted to keep a chunck of my hair blonde and i dyed my hair red
