For some haircolour can be confusing.
Remember. what you see on the box or the swatch is not what you will get. The boxes and results vary. It's important when coluring byt he box go up or down 2 shades. Don't go drastic.
permanent- Permanent colour fades a bit, but the majority grows out and the result is regrowth (roots). Always read if you have a lot of grey make sure it says 100% grey coverage or maximum grey coverage. This will give people with grey longer lasting coverage, because it picks upt he greys better.
If a haircolour is permanent with "no ammonia", beleieve it or not there a a few out there, it doesn't last too long, especially on gret hair. You get coverage, but it does fade quickly.
If the box says 50% or less grey, the colour is good for people who have no or some grey hair, not a lot of grey a few.
semi permanent- you cannot lighten with these shades, because theres little or no ammonia and little or no peroxide. You can go more red, darken your hair or brighten your colour. you cannot lighten. Some people with greys have to use these colours because they can't use perozide or ammonia, but they have to do it often becasue it washes out. Rememeber darker colours take longer to wash out.
:frown: never ever put brown haircolour on blond you hair will turn green. You can colour your hair a red brown on a blond. That won't turn green.

If you end up with too drastic of a colour, using dandruff shampoo helps fade it quicker or even sunlight dishsoap. If you use the dishsoap method use a lot of conditioner becasue your hair will be dry.
*depending on where you live in the world some of these products may be discontinued.
*Always follow directions carefully and do patch tests. Never colour lashes or brows. doing so may cause blindness.
