Hey fellow MUTers,

I bought some HealthySexyHair soy shampoo and conditioner yesterday and Biolage Ultra Hydrating Conditioner as well. Since HSH is a protein conditioner, is it okay to use the Biolage right after? Or would that be too much? My hair is really really dry from heatstyling and highlighting and I really want to moisturize it as much as I can.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance

it should be fine

but a protien conditioner is not going to moisturize hair

it will in-fact dry it out more...

also using a moisturizing conditioner right after the volumizing shampoo is going to really limit the effects of the volumizing shampoo cuase the moisture is going to just weigh down your hair

You didn't mention your hair type, only that it's dry. 1, 2, 3, 4 abc? Anyways protein dries out hair. You may wnt to use a moisturizing conditioner without the protein. I found a few that help. Wish I could recommend, but I don't know your hair type. Just stay away from silk proteins, etc, if you are just looking for a hydrating conditioner only. Also find a good protectant for the heat.

I'm not a 1 because that is straight hair, I would probably be between a 1 and a 2a. It's not wavy or straight enough to leave unstyled.
