That's so terrible! Are you a technician? I am too and we've been having some crazy cases in this week as well. I really hope the little guy pulls through and whoever owns the American Bulldogs will be taking responsibility and helping out with costs of treatment. >_< What a shame! I'm so sorry.

((( this is exceedingly sad!! Bulldogs are MF'ers!! They are horrible, vicious and ugh.....they should be put to sleep from the getgo!

I know too many people who were injured by bulldogs and keep hearing horror stories especially with children...

why ppl keep these dogs as pets is beyond my comprehension..but owners of these dogs should either live 300 miles out of the closest town or something...

awful ! i hate bulldogs. we frequently hear stories of kids or even babies bitten by a dog such as those. why do people keep taking them as "pets"? i hope the owner will be held responsible (in France they are) and pay some of the costs.

I have an update!

First of all, Thanks so much everyone for your prayers and support.

Come to find out, it was not her own dogs that attacked Biscuit. It was the neighbor's pit bull that broke through the fence and attacked him. This dog has already gotten loose in the neighborhood and killed two other dogs. The neighbor was informed of Biscuit's condition and he is paying the bill.

Biscuit is expected to make it. He had a HUGE gash in his hip, broke his femur and lost a lot of blood. He underwent emergency surgery Thursday night and is healing.

Wow, Texas is really different than Virginia (Michael Vick notwithstanding). Any dog that killed two others would not be with us any longer. Glad Biscuit is on the mend!

so sad.........darn right the owner should pay and also animal control should be involved if the dog is violent and uncontrolled.......esp if this is not the first time!!!

I'm so glad Biscuit will heal. What an awful thing to happen. The owner sounds very irresponsible in controlling his dog but thankfully he is paying the vet bills. I agree with Dee, sounds like animal control needs to be involved.
