Hi

Can anybody help me with this dilema. I had layers cut into my hair "years" ago. I wish I hadnt!

Ive never been able to grow them out again. I have tried not having my hair cut, they break off. I have tried not tying my hair back as much, they still break off. I've tried having them trimmed, they never seem to get long again. Ive tried not using straighteners so much, nope no good.

How on earth can I grow these layers out of the side of my hair and get my hair back to one length.

Thanks

Are you using a lot of styling tools such as blow dryers and curling irons? I recommend trying to lay off of them as much as possible. Try letting your hair air dry, and then using a heat protectant before curling your hair.

Also, you might have to bite the bullet and just have your hair cut to the shortest possible layer you can stand. Which totally stinks, I know, but if trimming isn't helping, it might be your only bet.

If it's available where you live, try looking into HealthySexyHair by Sexy Hair Concepts. It's really helped my hair out a lot! This is honestly the best shape it's been in since I can remember!

Im using, but only about once a week now, GHD hair straighteners. Each tiime I blow dry my hair but on the lowest setting. I wash it about twice a week.

Its sound advice you've given. I was thinking about chopping it as short as I could and getting these:-

Wigs, hair extensions and accessories from Hothair

what do you think?

I bought a clip in - like a ponytail thing- which I am wearing in my Avitar and that was great quality. Got it from the same website. You just wash them in the shower with normal shampoo, shake and they dry in their original style.
