If yer wondering yes thats grey in the middle :/

Depending on how much you want them to show up, that is how you decide the thickness. I hope that will show up in your hair, your hair looks really dark. Good luck and keep us posted!

So thick chunk is out?

Hmm i dont think I want them too thin

ask someone else to put it on for u its always better than doing it on your own ! and yes thick is out !

After letting my mom and sister trying to highlight my hair at home... I'm too scared to let them do it, or even myself! Its worth it for me to go the salon. Haha. MY hair turned otu orange instead of blonde...

Ugh my mom did one of those highlight in a box things and her hair is already pretty blonde, and even though she got a light color, it looked pretty orange and I tried it to do a root touch up and it came out orange so I will never again use a highlight-in-a-box type thing. If you want good looking highlights I would just go to a salon, if it's not how you want it then they have to fix it.

Thin is nice, but for a big difference like you're going for, I would do thick. Check out my FOTD from 07/07/07, I have one big thick chunk of blondie.

I think you are being wise going to the salon. Everytime I try to do more than just a single color at home I mess it up. Then I need to spend even more money to have it fixed.

Idk, I used to try those highlight things all the time and it never worked out to well.. I say you should go to the salon. But its up to you of course.

either way.. PICTURES!

I have never done one of those. I personally dont trust myself!! I used to trust my self to do an all over color from a box, but I don't even do that anymore. I strictly go to the salon for all my hair color needs!! loL!

Those drugstore hairdye kits never do work very well, unless the color you are looking for is orange. If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply up there, I suggest you get the Blonde Brillance highlighting kit. This is the best product for salon and at home treatments.
