Going From Medium Brown To Blonde! Help!

I finnaly decided to fully change my look, and i after a long though i decided to go blonde (golden), but im not quite sure how to look after my hair afterwards... cause my hair is already VERY long (waist length) and curly/fizzy...

i think im gonna try the olive oil mask everyone is talking about, hopefully that'll work but are there any of u guys out there that are/have been blonde? and what products(shampoo, mask..etc) did/do u use on ur hair???

Be careful when thinking about colouring your hair, especially cos its waist length! maybe just have a few golden highlights put in. A mask should do your hair good and condition it too!

Katie's right -- going fully blonde from brown can be pretty damaging. I would definitly get a trim while you're there, and the follow up with the olive oil & a deep conditioner. See if your salon offers the Biolage Cera-Repair treatments.. they are great!

i would do a deep conditioning treatment at least a week before you get it done and afterwards. and definitely a trim. also if you're not sure about getting it all done i would just get a lot of highlights. it'll look blonde and then you can decide if you want it all blonde. it might still be a big change for you. i know when i got mine i was like wow.

I agree with the highlights idea, especially because of the extra long hair.
