I hate to keep bugging you with questions but you are an expert and i know if i follow your advice my hair will thank you....ok i got a jc pennys card from my mamas friend so im going to their salon to get something the card is 35 dollars. Anything salon brand you can suggest

? Oh ill name the brand they carry : Redkin, matrix, biolage, chi, joico, mizani, and kera care. The last two are "ethnic hair brands" that ive been told are crap by several aa women with relaxed hair so ignore those last two LOL...

Ok i want something that will help moisturize and prevent breakage. So any suggestions

Thank you in advanced

Hmm...heres a few options....Im assuming the last one you wrote was meant to be Kenra...in which case is a fantastic line. Anyway, heres a few options...remember you dont want to over-do the protein; that can actually have the opposite effect on t he hair.

Biologe Hydrating Shampoo + Biologe Fortifying Conditioner + Biologe Fortifying Leave in

Redken Extreme Shampoo + Redken All Soft Conditioner + Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave in.

Kenra: Moisturizing Shampoo + Deep Penetrating Moisturizing conditioner

Joico: K-Pak Shampoo + Moisutre Recovery Balm + K-Pak Leave in

Any of those combo's should work for you....I made it so that not only are u getting the protein to stop the breakage, but you are also getting the moisture to soften

Back in the day when i did use salon brands, I tried Kenra.

If you want your scalp to feel like its on fire, be my guest. Major irritants in this line.

None of the Kenra products contain peppermint oil or menthol, perhaps you had an allergic reaction to a specific ingredient? Kenra is amazing....Ive never had a problem with any of their products.
