Getting my hair cut.

ok so ive finally decided to get my hair cut. i think im gonna do it after the first of the year. kinda a fresh start. i want something to kinda make me look older but i dont wanna go too short. so i want your guys' ideas and opinions.

so give me some ideas.

Side swept bangs are really popular. Long layers are easy to straighten or make wavy/curly - very versatile.

I like hair with a golden cast - golden brown or goldish highlights.

I agree with Han that it would be helpful if you could post a picture.

Don't you already have side-swept bangs Holly? I think some nice blonde highlights would look great with soft layers...

yea i have bangs. i wanna get it cut possibly short. something to make me look older.

2 ideas:

1) only take off half as much length as you think you want, to begin with. wait 6-9 months to see how you feel about that before committing to going anything shorter

2) cut it to the chin and wear in a neat, straight bob (always thought this looked older, but classic at the same time)

get a slightly more drastic side swept bangs, aka. straight bangs that you push to the side in a sweep bang.

get a shoulder length bob.. just above yuour shoulders and get subtle layers in it.
