hey friends!

what is your opinion about garnier fructis hair care line?? Is that good enough for any type of hair?

My wife loves Garnier Fructis and uses it every day... The fortifying shampoo and cream conditioner with Color Shield for colored hair...

I think it is a great line - styles like its suppose to, nice smell.

My only complaint is that my scalp feels itchy.

As long as it stays away from my scalp, I have to strongly recommend it.

It sure smells good, and I like their curl cream or whatever they have. I personally stay away from mainstream hair lines though, because they're made with sulfates (Sodium Laureth Sulfate, etc.) which can be quite irritating for most people. Over time, that ingredient dries up hair and is believed to cause hair thinning. I've done a lot of obsessive reading about the crap shampoos they have in drugstores... fortunately, organic shampoos can be purchased as low as $5 or $6 or something like that.

The sulfates are what cause the bubbles-- people buy bubbly, lathering shampoo because it makes it seem like it really cleans your hair. However, when I used Garnier Fructis shampoos/conditioners, I felt like it was severely weighing my hair down. It leaves a lot of gunk behind. It's definitely better than Dove though, which makes my head feel like an oil reserve.

Sorry for the little rant, haha! But I really think more people should use shampoos and conditioners that don't have sulfates or parabens. If it makes your head itchy, don't use it.

Ever since I switched to organic shampoos, I haven't had problems with split ends or anything.

i love their styling products and their shampoos and conditioners work pretty darn well (one of the best drug store brands in my oppinion)

i also really like how they smell

i think their line is pretty good..the root booster & volume inject mousse have always given my hair lots of noticeable lift & i havent been able to find that with alot of products..and their fortifying shampoo & conditioner seems to make my hair stronger & look better. im really curious about their curl products cause im yet to try them..but yeah overall id rec it! they recently have alot of new stuff out too

I love Garnier! Best smelling shampoo in the entire world! I've never used their styling products, but I have a mild addiction to their conditioner.

I have tried a few of their products. I like my 3 minute conditioning treatment, prevents damage and makes my hair healthier. I also like their gel cream, perfect for thin hair like mine that refuses to style.

Not a fan of their fortifying line, didn't notice much of a difference in my hair.

For oily hair, the shampoo's okay, for normal hair, good, better than L'oreal stuff imo. The one i like (although it does build up on your scalp) is the silicon free shampoo, it works really well. I haven't tried the matching products though.

The styling products are definitely worth a try, i don't like the texture of their conditioners (too thick for my liking) but they're good too.

Overall, although i nowadays buy my shampoo at a hairsalon, Fructis remains the line i will buy at the supermarket. I'm through the Elseve stuff and Fructis smells better
