I have had my lovely fringe (is it bangs in American?) for about a month now but its still not lying right. I have a blunt fringe down to my eyebrows and it looks gorgeous for about half an hour after I have washed and blow dried, then it starts parting in several places and I get a big curly cowlick on one side!!! It looks scrappy and untidy and horrible :-(

I have used my slim plate GHD's on it, but it just makes my fringe stick straight out in front of me.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not sure what to do as I'm more rubbish than I ought to be with my hair.

Thats what I usually do, with a spritz of hairspray on the brush. It just doesn't seem to last in the slightest. Thank you anyway >_<

I agree with Dentaldee.

I have similar bangs to you. If I blow dry with a round brush, slightly curling hair under, it slowly straightens on its own and looks pretty good.

If my hair is freshly washed, I smooth a tiny drop of serum into bangs as well.

I don't use hair spray.

Try some gel! I dont have any sort of bangs so I dont think Im much help but my mom has what sounds like bangs the same as yours. Unfortunatly hers look great 30mins after blow drying and all that and then they start to part too. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Im just thinking gel because one time my mom tried a little gel and hairspray and then brushed them out and they stayed nicer much longer! And if they look a little stiff use a bit of pomade/wax which softens stiff hair, still supports a hold, and makes your hair shine. Hope you find something that works and hope I helped. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Lush have just formulated some gel so I think I might give that a go. Thank you! I'm so wary of using things on my fringe because i have sensitive skin and don't want a blotchy face!
