Found my HG haircare!

I was using all Paul Mitchell stuff and although I liked it, my hair just didn't feel it's best. I was starting to run out of hair products and I had some money left on my Sally's gift card, so I went there last night. I have tried Ion before, but just the little packets and was quite impressed. My hair has been feeling like straw here lately. I used the Ion Clarifying Shampoo, Keratin Rebuilder and Extreme Moisture Nurturing Cream last night and this morning, my hair feels like silk. I also used the Color Solutions Protective Shampoo and Daily Hydrating Conditioner after my treatments and they are awesome! I also bought some Color Solutions Bodifying Mousse, heat protectant spray and hair spray. Ion is my new favorite haircare brand. My hair has never felt better. :rockwoot:

My next purchase from Ion will be the 1" flat iron. It's about $100 and the lady demonstrated it for me. It works EXACTLY like the Chi, just a little less expensive. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My hairdresser will be disappointed in me that I have switched from what she was having me buy, but if it works better and is less expensive, why not?

Right on!!!! I myself have used the little repair packets but none of the other products. My hair was thining out and getting dry so I stared using Pantene restoratives the green one, and taking GNC Nourishhair. My hair has been doing much better, but it could be a little bit better. I think I will check it out. Hopefully they will have it on sale!!!!!

I love Ion products too. I never tried Paul Mitchell or go to the salon anymore, but I know that stylist just like ypu to spend money, and that's probably why she was pushing the PM products on you. Glad you found something you like.

I just checked out my hair in the mirror and it is soooo shiny. Doesn't feel like straw anymore, either. Paul Mitchell was just drying it out.

did you take breaks from the paul mitchell produts once in awhile? thats a must with all produts to keep them working good..

Yes han, I did and my hair was just a mess. I still have some Matrix Biolage left and I will switch to it off and on.

I went to Sally's Not long ago and got myself some Ion Spray. I had never tried it before and had no idea really what to pick up, but for some reason I chose that and really like it. I haven't tried any other Ion products, but I would like to. Right now My HG shampoo and Conditioner is Redkin So Soft!!
