Well, I think most of my hair goals are in baby steps. The next mini-goal I have is tail bone length, which I predict I will reach by next early Spring. The Big Goal after that is Classic Length, which I think is still a year off for me. I don't know if I'll wanna grow out more than classic, and I don't know if I can grow it beyond that, but we'll see.
The last big chop I had was in 2001 to a long-ish pixie cut, and I have not had another haircut since that time. I have had to make radical changes in my hair regimen years ago to acheive the kind of growth I have now. I promised myself that unless absolutely necessary (or until I get sick of it), I will never cut my hair again.

hmm, probably about a year I'm guessing for me. Right now it's brushing my shoulders, and I would like it to be around the bottom of my shoulder blades. My hair grows fairly fast so it's acchievable.

Just past my shoulders....Id say 3 months, my bangs grown out to side bangs....abouot the same time. I should never have cut...silly me.

i want my hair to grow to at least past my shoulder blades. that should be about another couple years. i started with a twa (teeny weeny afro) and now it just past my shoulders. that took about 4 years.

Do you know or use spacial treatment oil/shampoo which helps growth hair quicker, healthier and ticker? Thanks

My hair is just at the middle of my back now, so it's pretty close to what i really want. It's hard though, I haven't had a hair trim for a while and those split ends are threatening!

in 2000 my hair was 1" all over now it is past my bra strap.......so thats 7 years...eek I'm slow!!! I've had lots of trims though, but it does grow slow. I'm thinkin' about getting it chopped off into a super funky inverted bob.......but I don't know if I have the nerve!!

well probably a year or like six month. my hair grows fast so i don't worry about it. plus i like my length for now so i have no complains.

probably another 6 months to a year for me, my hair is a couple inches past my shoulders and I want it to be mid-back length...how fast does hair grow again?

It's probably going to take another 5 to 6 years to get to my ultimate goal length of hip length stretched hair (my hair is natural). So I'm setting mini goals for myself along the way. Next stop is chin length by June 30, 2008. I hope to be on my way to shoulder length by this time next year.

I plan on wearing a lot of braids, twists, and updos along the way.

Which means half of people grow this rate and slower, and half of people grow their hair at a faster rate. Getting 1" per month is always where alot of us would love to be, but because of genetics, we will never get there. Some people consistently grow only four inches a year, and that's okay too.
Even at my very fastest, all I get is 0.75" inches per month at the most, and at my slowest I get as little as 0.25", or I could even stall growth altogether. On average for me, it is slightly more than 0.5" per month. At the end of the year, I end up with closer to seven inches of growth instead of six, so that is how I concluded that.
