Heres a few tips from myself on how to care for fine hair (Im not a pro lol but since I have this hair type I thought I'd do a little article on it)

  • Volume - Fine hair can usually lacks volume, it tends to lie flat. My tip is to blow dry (on a low heat and air flow setting to avoid damage) and gently brush all your hair onto one side of your head or tip your head upside down and blow dry. If your not looking for to much volume give your hair a break and let it air dry.
  • Hair Mask - I use pure jojoba oil as a deep conditioner. Sometimes I mix a drop in with my shampoo. Or for a mask, I use a few drops and massage into dry hair and leave for a hour + then rinse of with a mild shampoo.
  • Colouring - Think carefully before colouring your hair, especially because fine hair can damage easily. Always consult a hairdresser/hair colorist before taking the plunge :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.
  • Straight or Curly? - I'd love to have straight hair with volume. I use to use straighteners every day on my hair.... but the result... split ends and damaged hair. Try to limit straighteners to special occasions and use a heat protectent balm. If your looking for curly hair, don't run to those heated curling tongs.. Why not section your hair into braids when the hairs damp and then a few hours later you should have a wave.
I hope this helped you in some way!
