Can everyone tell me what their favorite is, I just purchased L'Oreals feria brand in carmel kiss. There is so may brands to choose from, I even went to Sally's to see what they had. Brand choice is too over welming. Thanks Rachael

My favorite is Natural Instincts. I leave it on my hair for 30 min to lighten it and I feel like it gets less damaged that way. Plus it has great "reflectance" (as my old hair stylist put it); it makes my hair really shiny.

I used Natural Instincts once before in a red shade, and it turned out really nice... very shiny. But it also faded really fast, since it's only a semi-permanent. IMO, Garnier Nutrisse is a good brand. I avoided most other ones because I found them way too drying.

My hairstylist recomended Natural Instincts, she said it was one of the less damaging brands. I recenetly tried some and I'm pretty happy with it. Although it is only demi-permanant I believe

When I have extra money, I treat myself to a professional hair colour. When I can't, my hairdresser recommends L'Oreal hair colouring kits. I like Nutrisse but will go for Nice n Easy or Belle Colour. I am about 30% grey, sigh, so I need "permanent" hair colour.

Has anyone advised you that you need to buy two boxes if your hair is shoulder length or longer? That is when the cheaper brands start to have more appeal.

I generally like going to the salon to get my hair coloured. But sometimes, it's not possible. So I use Clairol's Nice'N'Easy.

Hi, no one had told me to use 2 boxes for shoulder length or longer hair but I learned that the hard way. A couple of times using 1 box and just not getting enough coverage and running out! thanks Rachael

I'm all for Garnier Nutrisse since I haven't tried 100% Color... I'd be interested in trying henna though!

Love colouring my hair, eventhough I just cut it off again today. But when I colour my hair, I go to the salon and it must be Aveda!!!! The best!!!!

i've used a lot of different types but always seem to come back to Clairol's Herbal Essence

I like Natural Instincts and i like most haircolor brands. The only brand i didnt like was Feria because the color washed oout after the first wash. Ive never had that happene before.

I LOVED Loreal moisture SPA, but i think they discontinued it

I loved it because it was semipermanent, not as harsh as permanent dyes, yet it fades away really slowly. I tried Natural Instincts once but it faded wayyy to quick

In permanent colors ... I like Garnier 100% Color, Herbal Essenses, and L'Oreal Excellence. In Semi-Permanents, I usually go with L'Oreal Color Spa Moisture Actif. Feria washed out way too fast on me, and Natural Instincts never seemed to be very true to color.

Loreal Feria was my all time fave when I had black hair. Now I lighten so I use toner and no dye.

I use Revlon Colorsilk for my black and brown streaks and for my red I use Special Effects. I just love these two brands. :]
