Hello! Welcome to MuT! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm Janelle from NY, nice to meet you!

I would suggest a trim, for starters... to get rid of the split ends. I would also use a thick, hydrating conditioner (Biolage conditioning balm is great) to help keep your hair moisturized. You can also do hot oil treatments, and let your hair dry naturally a few days a week. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also, keeping my hair dirty for as long as possible has helped me a lot. I wash only when "necessary" until it gets better. The natural grease from the hair helps it recover the natural texture.

Good luck!

well, i got a trim, and they deep conditioned it, i also put the hot oil treatment in. The hot oil treatment, i have not noticed much of a difference, but hte deep conditoner she put in did great.. Have to get more of that:satisfied:!!LOL I dont know , i know my hair is alot softer. Thanks

I get a problem with the split ends all the time also. A good trim definitely helps. I was using a shampoo from John Masters Organics and it really dried out my hair because I noticed that I got more split ends after that. I switched shampoos and also did a deep conditioner couple of times and my hair is a lot better now.

Biolage or something like that i cant remember how it was spelt, i have seen the shampoos and things before but what she did was really great:laughing:

They have some really good treatments out there for damaged hair. I've been using Neutrogena's Moisture Rich Deep Conditioner once a week and it always makes my hair really soft.

Try not to use hot tools as much, and when you do use a heat-styling protector!
